PRP Hair Restoration in NYC. Your Own Platelets, Back Where Hair Is Thinning.
From $75045 minNo downtime
PRP hair treatment uses a small draw of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets, then placed into the scalp where follicles are shrinking. At Club 116 on Central Park South a doctor confirms the cause of your hair loss first, so you only pay for PRP if it can actually help you. Three sessions, four to six weeks apart, from $750.

PRP Hair Restoration Before and After. What It Can Look Like.
One case, labeled the way the work is priced: the treatment, the count or the sessions, and how long after. This one is judged at six months, photographed in the same light and at the same distance, with no retouching.
A placeholder for layout, made to show how consented client photographs will appear. It shows no patient and no result. Real cases replace it as clients consent, photographed in the same light and at the same distance, with no retouching. Individual results vary.
Every caseWhat PRP Does for Thinning Hair, and What It Cannot Do.
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrate of the platelets in your own blood. Platelets carry growth factors that lengthen the growing phase of a hair follicle and thicken the hair it produces. Injected into the scalp, PRP is used for early to moderate pattern hair loss in men and women. Nothing is added to your blood.
PRP works on follicles that are miniaturizing, meaning they are shrinking and producing finer hair each cycle. It does not revive a follicle that has already gone. That distinction is why every PRP plan at Club 116 starts with scalp imaging and bloodwork. If your thinning is driven by low iron, a thyroid problem or a hormone imbalance, three sessions of PRP will not fix it, and we would rather tell you that before you spend $750 than after.
Who it is for
Men and women with early to moderate thinning: a widening part, a softening hairline, a crown that shows under bright light, or a ponytail that has lost its thickness. PRP is also used alongside prescription treatment to hold ground while medication takes effect, and around a hair transplant to support the grafts and the hair between them.
Why do it here
A doctor reads your bloodwork and signs off on the plan before anyone books a session. PRP is prepared in the room, on the day, from your own blood. Progress is measured with photographs under the same lighting at three and six months, not in a bathroom mirror. Nobody here is on commission, and the price is published before you ask.
Before, During and After.
Scalp imaging shows whether your follicles are shrinking or already gone. Photographs give you a baseline to measure against. Bloodwork (thyroid, ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and hormones) rules out the causes PRP cannot treat. The doctor tells you which step you are on and whether PRP is the right one. If you have already had the $350 hair consult, you skip straight to treatment.
A small blood draw, about the size of a routine lab test. It is spun for around ten minutes to concentrate the platelets. Your scalp is cleaned and numbed, and the PRP is placed with fine needles across the thinning areas. Most people describe it as pressure and a few pinches. Nothing about it shows when you leave.
Mild tenderness or pinkness in the scalp for a day or two. You can go back to work the same afternoon and wash your hair the next day. No bandages, no visible marks.
Shedding usually settles within six to eight weeks, which is the earliest honest sign that the follicles are responding. Density builds from around three months. We photograph you at three and six months so the change is measured, not guessed. Maintenance sessions every six to twelve months keep the result.

Downtime and aftercare
Most people go straight back to their day. For twenty four hours, skip hot showers, hard training and styling products. Hold off on color or bleach for a week. Take acetaminophen rather than anti-inflammatories for any tenderness, because anti-inflammatories can blunt the platelet response. Anything specific to your case is written down at the consult.
Not for you if
You are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active scalp infection, a bleeding or platelet disorder, or take a blood thinner that has not been discussed with the doctor. Some medical conditions and some medicines rule out platelet treatments, and PRP will not help hair loss that is fully scarred or where the follicles are gone. Your history and bloodwork catch these before anything is booked.

PRP Hair Treatment in NYC: Questions People Ask First.
How much does PRP hair treatment cost in NYC?
At Club 116 on Central Park South, a single PRP scalp session is $750 and a course of three is $2,000. Members pay 20% less. Most Manhattan clinics charge between $1,000 and $1,500 a session. Our price is published so you can compare it before you call anyone.
How many PRP sessions do I need for hair loss?
Three sessions, four to six weeks apart, is the standard starting course. After that, most people maintain the result with one session every six to twelve months. We take photographs at three and six months, and if nothing has moved, the plan changes rather than continues.
Does PRP actually work for thinning hair?
For follicles that are shrinking but still alive, PRP can slow shedding and thicken the hair within a few months, and it has the most evidence in early to moderate pattern hair loss. It does not regrow hair where the follicle is gone, and it will not fix thinning caused by iron, thyroid or hormone problems. That is why we test first.
Does PRP for hair hurt?
The scalp is numbed first. Most people feel pressure and a few quick pinches during the injections, and mild tenderness for a day afterwards. There is no downtime and nothing visible when you leave.
Is PRP good for female hair loss?
Yes. Women with a widening part or diffuse thinning are often good candidates, and PRP avoids the hormonal medications that some women cannot take. The consult checks ferritin, thyroid and hormones first, because these drive a large share of shedding in women and are routinely missed on a standard physical.
Do I need the consult before PRP?
Yes. Hair loss has causes that no scalp treatment fixes, and the bloodwork finds them. The hair consult is $350, it is credited against your plan, and it commits you to nothing. You can also start with the $95 online doctor review from your phone.
