Microneedling Face and Neck in NYC. Carried Down to Where It Shows First.

From $60060 minDowntime 2 to 3 days

Microneedling face and neck in NYC treats the two as one, so nothing stops at the jaw. Fine needles create controlled micro channels and the skin rebuilds its own collagen, with the depth turned down for the thinner skin of the neck. For crepe, horizontal lines and uneven tone. At Club 116 on Central Park South it takes 60 minutes, from $600.

What it is

Why the Neck Is Treated With the Face, and Why It Takes a Course.

Face and neck microneedling is a single session in which fine needles make controlled micro channels across the full face and the front and sides of the neck, so the skin rebuilds its own collagen in both. It is used for neck crepe, horizontal lines and a mismatch in tone between face and neck. At Club 116 in Manhattan it costs from $600 and takes 60 minutes.

Neck skin is thinner than facial skin, has fewer oil glands and less collagen to begin with. That is why sun and years of looking down at a screen show there first, and why the depth is set lower for the neck than for the cheeks. The neck responds well but slowly. One visit gives a glow; the change in crepe and lines comes over a course of three, which is how we plan it from the start.

Who it is for

Neck lines and crepe, the visible line between a treated face and an untreated neck, and anyone doing a face course who does not want the neck to be the tell. Every skin tone, because microneedling uses no heat or light.

Why do it here

Depth is set separately for the face and the neck rather than from one preset. A doctor signs off on anything applied to open channels, and a licensed clinician performs the treatment. Photographs under the same light at each visit measure the change. Nobody works on commission, so if the neck would do better with Morpheus8, we tell you.

What happens

Before, During and After.

Before
The consult

The face and neck are assessed under proper light and photographed, including the sides of the neck. We check for active acne, eczema or a cold sore. Numbing cream goes on for twenty to thirty minutes, which is most of the waiting. No consultation fee, and the exact price is confirmed in writing first.

During · 60 min
In the room

Fine needles pass over the face in controlled depths, then down the neck at a lighter setting. It feels like fine sandpaper, warm and scratchy rather than painful. The neck is one of the more sensitive areas, and the clinician goes slower there. A hyaluronic serum or your chosen booster is applied as the channels open.

After · 2 to 3 days
What to expect

Pink to red for a day or two, like a mild sunburn, then a few days of dryness. The neck can stay pink a day longer than the face. Makeup after twenty four hours. A scarf or a collar covers the neck if you would rather.

Results · three
When you see it

Texture on the face improves first, from four to six weeks. The neck follows over two to three months of a course spaced four to six weeks apart, and keeps improving after the last session as collagen matures.

Good to know

Read This Before You Book.

Downtime and aftercare

Two to three days of pinkness and a dry, tight feel, a little longer on the neck. Sunscreen on both areas, a bland moisturizer, and nothing active (no retinol, acids or vitamin C) for five days. No makeup for the first day. No sweat, sauna or swimming for two days. Avoid tight collars and perfume on the neck while it is pink.

Not for you if

You are pregnant, have active acne, eczema or a cold sore in the area, keloid scarring, a bleeding disorder, or take a blood thinner. Not if you have used isotretinoin in the last six months. Boosters applied to the skin are not used in pregnancy. Your history is checked before anything is booked.

Questions

Microneedling Face and Neck in NYC: Questions People Ask First.

How much does face and neck microneedling cost in NYC?

At Club 116 on Central Park South it is $600 a session, and $480 for members. That is $150 more than the face alone. Adding a booster such as PRF or exosomes raises the price, and you get the exact figure in writing before anything starts.

How many sessions does the neck need, and how long does it last?

Three sessions, four to six weeks apart. The neck rebuilds collagen more slowly than the face, so one session gives a glow and a course gives the change in crepe and lines. Most people then maintain with a session every six to twelve months.

Does microneedling on the neck hurt more than the face?

Slightly. The neck is thinner and more sensitive, so we use a lighter depth and numbing cream, and the clinician goes slower there. Most people describe it as warm and scratchy rather than painful.

Can microneedling fix a crepey neck?

It can improve crepe, fine horizontal lines and uneven tone over a course, because the skin builds new collagen where the needles have been. It does not tighten loose skin or a heavy neck. For laxity, Morpheus8 face and neck or PDO threads for the neck are the honest options, and we will say which at the consult.

Should I add a booster, and which one for the neck?

The neck often does well with one, because it heals more slowly than the face. PRF is what we suggest for most people doing a course. Exosomes give the shortest recovery. Rejuran or PDRN suit thin, reactive or sun weathered skin, which describes most necks. Plain needling is always an option, and the clinician recommends at the consult.

What is the downtime for microneedling face and neck?

Two to three days of pink, then a few days of dryness. The neck can lag the face by a day. You can work the same afternoon, wear makeup after twenty four hours, and nothing about it needs explaining.
